SECURITY & TRUST

Know what you can trust.

Your project's decisions and evidence should be easy to inspect. Learn how Episyne handles project sources, access and contradictory information.

01 / EVIDENCE

See where context came from.

Trace project guidance back to its supporting sources.

02 / AUTHORITY

Decisions stay reviewable.

Distinguish current guidance from superseded or unresolved information.

03 / CONTROL

Keep access intentional.

Choose integrations and review their source permissions.

Start with the information a project actually provides.

Episyne works with repository metadata and eligible source references to build project context. Local source selection and supported integrations determine what information is available for inspection.

Connecting an integration does not, by itself, mean authorizing a full repository upload. Review the permissions for each integration before using it with private code.

Not every statement is an accepted decision.

Project context distinguishes applicable guidance, superseded decisions, unanswered questions and conflicting sources. The aim is to make those differences visible instead of flattening everything into a summary.

The core reconstruction process does not require a server-side language model. Your connected coding agent may use its own provider to interpret the context it receives.

Protected access to project state.

Remote product access is designed around encrypted connections, authenticated sessions and workspace-scoped permissions. Details of service hosting and applicable service providers will be disclosed before onboarding private project data.

For the public website and Founding Beta applications, see our Privacy Notice.

Know what is retained.

Data access, correction and deletion requests are handled under the applicable privacy notice and product agreement. Retention periods and the available export or deletion workflows are described for the service you use.

Do not send credentials, repository secrets or sensitive project content through the public Founding Beta application.

Uncertainty should stay visible.

If project state is unavailable, stale or contradictory, it should not be presented as verified. Episyne is built to retain source references and distinguish a recorded fact from an unresolved question.

Accepted project guidance can change. Earlier decisions remain relevant as history, not as instructions that silently override the current direction.

Start with a guided evaluation.

Early access is offered by invitation. We review technical compatibility and the intended workflow before enabling access to private projects. Applying does not start a paid subscription.

For version-specific integration information, visit Integrations. Product terms and data-processing details are supplied before the corresponding service is activated.
